NANCY CONRAD

Nancy R. Conrad is an esteemed artist whose work is inspired by the nature of West Texas and Montana.  She began her art education with a scholarship to the Houston Museum of Fine Art and obtained a BFA in art history and painting at Randolph College.
Nancy Conrad’s work has been represented by many museum district galleries.  She works in multiple media, including large scale oil on canvas, pastel, pen and ink and photography. Her work deals with light, space, and a sense of peace.  Viewers often comment on how the paintings take them to the scenes within her works.

Nancy Conrad’s work is held in permanent collections at Allied American Bank, Conoco, Inc., Southwest Bank Shares, Inc. Memorial Hermann Hospital system; Houston Methodist Health system; Northwestern Mutual Life, Exxon, Toyota, BNSF, El Paso Museum and The Houston Collection, as well as select private collections.

In an effort to inspire the next generation of creatives, Nancy has provided art education through The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the Mountain Brook School Historical Foundation in Montana and the Contemporary Art Museum’s children’s art programs.
